Well I guess I should now show the finished product, and as you might imagine I have
photographed it from every conceivable angle; here's a sample:
Having finished the build the time came of course to start it up for the first time, to my
surprise it burst into life after just three prods of the kickstart; very rewarding after all
the work.
I set up the ignition timing with a strobe gun, the carburation is a bit on the rich side
but that won't do any harm to begin with; I will sort out the carburation once I've put a
couple of hundred miles on the clock.
Over the next few weeks I will arrange Insurance, MOT and Registration, then I will
finally be on the road. Roll on sunny days!
